Wallpaper Magazine: the Aquariva by Gucci is the best boat of 2010. A beautiful boat, for sure, but Gucci or no the basic Riva styling hasn’t changed in 60 years—its a classic in any decade. Gucci did add some nice details. Various subtle Gucci whites and patterns, and of course “Gucci” in chrome script on the side. 

Sort of an obvious choice, in a way, but I am encouraged that a tastemaking magazine like Wallpaper is paying some attention to boats as design objects. My choice? In the production runabout class, maybe the electric 620 Cabrio De Luxe from Boesch Motorboote.
